I am 23 yo SCM professional in Canada currently working for a major Canadian retailer as an analyst. I graduated from a college with a 3 year advanced college diploma in Operations and Supply Chain Management and currently have 2+ years of experience in my field. I was thinking of going to college/university for a Bachelor Degree, however, the costs of it are overwhelming and I am just not sure if it is worth it.
Do I really need that or I should better concentrate on gaining more experience, connections and some professional certifications? Will I lose anything in terms of career prospects if I choose not to pursue a degree?
